2층 주택을 개조한 구조.
딱 들어가면 한식 포차 느낌이 물씬 납니다.

요즘 깔끔한 술집과는 다르게
조금 투박하지만
그래서 더 편한 공간.
왠지 막걸리랑 더 잘 어울리는 분위기입니다.

There are days like that sometimes.
Not beer, not wine,
just a sudden craving for a bowl of makgeolli.
Strolling through Insadong's alleyways,
I revisited a place I'd often dropped into before,
'Insadong Brewery' – my first visit in ages.

Perfect for a light drink after exploring Insadong.


🏠 Ambience
A converted two-storey house.
Stepping inside, you're immediately hit by the feel of a traditional Korean pub.
Wooden staircase
Small room layout
A warm atmosphere reminiscent of an old house.

Unlike the sleek bars of today,
it's a little rough around the edges,
but that's precisely what makes it so comfortable.
Somehow, it feels like the perfect setting for makgeolli.


🍶 Features of Insa-dong Brewery

This place is a bit special.
It's a 'handcrafted makgeolli brewery' that makes its own makgeolli.
Perhaps because of that,
the makgeolli tastes distinctly smooth and fresh.
The sourness isn't overpowering;
it's a savoury and clean style.
'Ah, this place's makgeolli is decent'
That feeling hits you from the very first glass.

Overall, the snack quality was quite good.
